Being honest about what a test can and can't do
I won't oversell this. Cocaine clears the body in hours, but a urine test picks up its marker for roughly 2–4 days after occasional use, and up to about two weeks with heavy use — so a clean test today says nothing about last weekend. It isn't a lie detector, and a negative is about drugs, not about how the relationship or the recovery is really going. A test is one honest tool inside a bigger picture — never the whole plan.
