Terms & Policies

Last updated: August 2026

These are the plain-English terms for working with Gary Clinton (Bulletproof Recovery). They're here so you know exactly what to expect before you book. Booking a session or programme means you agree to them.

This is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, or you're in crisis right now, please contact: Samaritans 116 123 (free, 24/7) · HSE Drugs & Alcohol Helpline 1800 459 459 · Emergency 112 or 999. Don't wait for an appointment.

1. What I offer

Private, confidential one-to-one counselling and structured recovery programmes for cocaine and other addictions, and related depression and anxiety, delivered online (and in person where arranged). This is talking therapy and coaching — it is not medical treatment, detox, prescribing, or a substitute for care from your GP, psychiatrist or emergency services.

2. Booking & payment

  • Sessions and programmes are booked and paid for in advance, securely via Stripe.
  • The price that applies is the one shown at the time you book.
  • Programmes may be offered as a single payment or in instalments; where instalments are agreed, the full programme fee remains payable.

3. Cancellations, rescheduling & no-shows

Your session time is reserved exclusively for you, so late changes can't be filled.

  • 24 hours' notice or more: reschedule at no charge.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice, or a no-show: that session is charged at 50% of its value (or, within a paid programme, counts as used at 50%).
  • If I ever need to cancel on you, you'll be offered the earliest alternative slot or that session returned to you in full.

4. Refunds

Because sessions and programmes reserve time and begin work specifically for you, fees are non-refundable once a session is booked or a programme has begun. If your circumstances change, unused sessions can be rescheduled within a reasonable period rather than refunded. Nothing here affects any statutory consumer rights you have under Irish or EU law.

5. Confidentiality — and its limits

What you share with me is treated as strictly confidential and stored securely. The only times I may need to break confidentiality are where the law requires it, or where there is a serious risk to your life or someone else's — for example a safeguarding concern for a child or vulnerable adult. Where possible I'll discuss this with you first.

6. Getting the most from our work

Recovery is a partnership. I ask that you attend sessions ready to engage, as free from substances as you can be, and honest about where you're at — nothing you say will shock me or be judged. If I don't believe I'm the right person to help you, I'll say so and point you toward someone who is.

7. Complaints

If something isn't right, please tell me directly at info@garytheexpert.com and I'll do everything I can to put it right. I work to the ethical standards of my accrediting body (ICPA, member M6486).

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the version in force is the one published here on the date you book. Material changes won't affect a programme you've already started.
